Gnosis Chain plans to recover funds stolen in the Balancer incident through a hard fork

Comparing news, Gnosis Chain announced that its operator community has decided to perform a hard fork to recover funds previously lost in the Balancer bug. Currently, these funds are out of hacker control.

Previously, Gnosis said it had collaborated with Monerium and the Balancer team to freeze part of the affected fund pool and temporarily restricted the transfer of assets across the Gnosis chain via standard bridge. The Gnosis team will continue to collaborate with ecosystem partners and remind remaining node operators to take action to avoid penalties.
