Jack Dorsey launches Buzz, an open source decentralized group chat application built on the Nostr protocol

According to Bitcoin Magazine, Jack Dorsey, founder of Block (formerly Square), announced the launch of Buzz, an open source decentralized group chat application aimed at challenging team collaboration platforms such as Slack. Built on the decentralized social protocol Nostr, Buzz targets teams of humans and AI agents, and supports chat, project management, coding, and PR collaboration.

Block said the app is decentralized, open and open source, users can control data independently, and teams can collaborate with members and dedicated agents in a shared space.
