UK FCA and Huobi HTX enter settlement negotiations

Comparative news, according to a report by Reuters on August 13, court documents show that the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Huobi HTX are in the process of settling the charges. The FCA filed a lawsuit against Huobi HTX in October 2025. In March of this year, the two sides began three-month settlement negotiations, which were extended again on June 25; the London High Court suspended the proceedings, giving the parties two months until the end of August to reach a settlement.

A Huobi HTX spokesperson said that the platform has always been committed to maintaining high standards of compliance, transparency and user protection, and will continue to collaborate with regulators to support the sustainable development of the crypto ecosystem.
