Washington court orders Kalshi to stop sports, election prediction services

Comparatively, a Washington state court has ordered the prediction market platform Kalshi to stop providing prediction services involving sports, elections, politics, entertainment, culture, technology, and science because it violates the state's gambling laws.

The court also asked Kalshi to implement geofencing technology by September 2 to prevent Washington users from accessing related services.
