Anthropic plans to introduce super voting rights to protect control of the founding team

In comparison, Anthropic is preparing a type of stock with additional voting rights for CEO Dario Amodei and other co-founders to help the founding team withstand external shareholder pressure. This will be the first time Anthropic leadership has super voting power. Due to the co-founders' relatively low shareholding ratio in the company, the arrangement was thought to help maintain the founding team's control over the company. Anthropic also plans to maintain the existing non-shareholder fiduciary system and use special classes of shares to elect majority board members to further reduce the influence of external shareholders on corporate governance.
