Kraken parent company Payward explores becoming an all-purpose bank outside the US

Comparative news, according to The Block, Dave Ripley, co-CEO of Kraken's parent company Payward, said that the company is exploring becoming an “all-purpose bank” outside the US to expand payment, lending, income, and escrow businesses.

Payward is also building asset management capabilities and turning its infrastructure into a range of services that banks, brokerage firms, and fintech companies can connect to applications.
