According to Twitter, Honeypot Finance announced the completion of the acquisition of decentralized lottery protocol Play402. Play402 focuses on low-cost participation, instant lottery, and on-chain verifiable mechanisms. Users can pay 1 USDC to get 100 tokens and a prize pool lottery opportunity. The acquisition will complement Honeypot Finance's product footprint beyond liquidity, trading, token issuance, and on-chain infrastructure, and explore programmable rewards and interactive on-chain applications. Honeypot Finance said the direction of Play402's integration with its existing technology will be announced in a subsequent announcement.
