Dymon received an allocation of approximately $1 billion from the Abu Dhabi Investment Commission to accelerate expansion
According to Bloomberg, Singaporean hedge fund Dymon Asia Capital received about 1 billion US dollars in instalments from the Abu Dhabi Investment Council (ADIC) to expand markets from London to Hong Kong. Dymon's assets under management have grown to around $9 billion as of July, far exceeding previous expectations of $5 billion by the end of 2026, and its multi-strategy fund earned about 7.5% this year. Dymon is focusing on expanding the commodities and London team, introducing Amir Ravan as product leader from Jain Global, Jay Radia from BlueCrest as product chief operating officer, and recruiting former Schonfeld macro trader Manas Baveja in London. ADIC, on the other hand, is systematically increasing its allocation to global hedge funds and plans to raise the relevant exposure to about $15 billion.
