Japan's Financial Services Agency warns KuCoin and other companies to offer derivatives transactions without registration
Comparing news, the Japan Financial Services Authority issued a warning letter to KuCoin, NeonFX, theoption, and GTCFX, stating that they provide OTC derivatives trading services to Japanese residents through the Internet without registration. The FSA said the above companies received the relevant notice in March, and KuCoin was listed as a platform providing services to Japanese users. Previously, Japanese regulators issued similar warnings to exchanges such as KuCoin and Bybit in November 2024, and requested Apple and Google to suspend KuCoin app downloads in February 2025.
