SEC drops all charges against Yuchen Sun, the Bochang Foundation, and the BitTorrent Foundation

According to Twitter, according to official sources, the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) officially agreed today to drop all remaining charges against Sun Yuchen, the Bochang Foundation, and the BitTorrent Foundation. The settlement marks the formal end of a three-year regulatory dispute and removes long-standing uncertainty surrounding the Tron ecosystem and BTT token development. In the future, Wavefield Ecosystem and BitTorrent will continue to focus on promoting technological iteration and ecosystem construction of decentralized file transfer protocols. Sun Yuchen said they will actively cooperate with regulators to explore compliance innovation paths and jointly welcome a “new era of supporting innovation.”
