Litecoin revealed a zero-day vulnerability that triggered DoS attacks and abnormal MWEB transactions, which were fixed after the block was restructured
In comparison, Litecoin (Litecoin) published an article on the X platform disclosing that a recent zero-day vulnerability had caused DoS attacks and affected the operation of major mining pools. Mining nodes that were not updated in a timely manner allowed an invalid MWEB (MimbleWimble Extension Block) transaction to be executed, so that related tokens could be withdrawn to a third-party DEX. The Litecoin network rolled back these invalid transactions through a 13-block restructuring (reorg), confirming that they will not be included in the main chain. None of the valid transactions were affected during this period. Currently, the bug has been completely fixed, and the network operation has returned to normal.
