Nuvei to acquire digital payments infrastructure Payoneer for $2.75 billion

According to the news, payment company Nuvei Corporation announced that it will acquire Payoneer Global Inc., for about 2.75 billion US dollars. After the transaction is completed, the two North American payment companies will be integrated, and the total annual transaction processing scale will exceed 500 billion US dollars. Under the agreement, Payoneer shareholders will receive $7.40 in cash per share, an approximately 10% premium over the previous trading day's closing price of $6.75.
