CoinGecko: 80% of tokens on Pump.fun won't survive a day

In comparison, CoinGecko data shows that from January 2024 to June 2026, 68.67% of the more than 18.67 million tokens created on the Pump.fun platform stopped trading on the day of creation. This ratio rises to 80.37% when counting tokens that have lived for 1 day. Only 4.55% of the tokens live longer than 90 days. As the platform's threshold for creating tokens is close to zero, most tokens are quickly discarded after not receiving continued attention. The analysis covered transaction data on Pump.fun's binding curve, and did not include trading activity after migrating to an external decentralized exchange such as Raydium.
