BitMart announced the orderly cessation of operations and the closure of all trading services from August 26
Comparative news, according to an official announcement, BitMart announced that after evaluating the operating conditions, market environment and future strategic direction, the platform decided to stop the trading business in an orderly manner. Starting at 01:30 (UTC) on July 26, BitMart will gradually stop new user registrations and cryptocurrency and fiat currency deposits. Contract accounts will enter a depreciation-only mode, spot will stop accepting new orders, and automated services such as tracking, grid, and API transactions will gradually be shut down.
Starting at 01:00 (UTC) on August 26, BitMart will stop all spot, contract, and other trading services. Contract positions that have not been closed at that time may be handled according to the mark price, index price, or applicable settlement rules. Products such as financial management, collateral, lending, and Launchpad will be phased out, and specific redemption and settlement arrangements will be announced separately.
The platform plans to officially stop operating the trading platform on January 31, 2027 at 15:59 (UTC). After the suspension of service, users can still log in to their account, view history, and submit withdrawal requests within the specified period. BitMart advises users to complete identity verification and close all positions by 01:00 on August 26, and submit a withdrawal request by 05:00 on the same day.
Withdrawal services are still available, but some applications may be subject to manual review due to KYC, device and account security, funding sources, withdrawal addresses, travel rules, sanctions screening, etc. BitMart reminds users to download and save account balances, deposits, withdrawals, and transaction records in advance, and is wary of scams impersonating platform personnel to charge expedited fees or request passwords, verification codes, private keys, and mnemonic words.
