Meta is being sued for $1.4 trillion

Comparatively, according to CCTV news reports, the US metaverse platform company (Meta) will once again stand in federal court this week after two convictions and nearly $1 billion in compensation.

On August 12, a lawsuit filed jointly by the four US states will begin a jury screening process in the Oakland federal court. The prosecution alleges that Meta's social media platform's addictive design harms minors and claims $1.4 trillion against it.
