Fidelity applied to add a staking feature to its Ethereum ETF FETH, which can be staked up to 100% ETH

On August 11, Fidelity submitted a revised registration statement to the US SEC to apply for additional ETH staking functionality for its spot Ethereum ETF Fidelity Ethereum Fund (FETH). Under normal circumstances, FETH can stake up to 100% of the ETH it holds, but there is no minimum staking ratio.

If approved by the SEC, FETH's investment goals will also change. Currently, the fund mainly tracks the Fidelity Ethereum Reference Rate and deducts related fees; after adding the pledge, the fund's goal will change to track the index and include the revenue generated by the pledge.
