SpringX MOVE: Thriving on an Empowering Journey

Article: @BuidlerDAO编排: @createpjf注: This article represents a personal opinion and does not constitute any investment opinion SpringX MOVE Accelerator officially launched in Singapore in June. This accelerator is the first ecological accelerator organized by SpringX. It was jointly launched with Aptos Foundation, ABCDE, and SevenX Ventures to provide comprehensive acceleration support for builders and projects in the MOVE ecosystem. During the three-month systematic acceleration process, the 10 project founders crossed Hong Kong, Silicon Valley, and Singapore to participate in offline course training and received closed-door tutoring from more than 30 mentors. During this period, all participating projects received official ecosystem support, including connecting with the official core team and receiving Grants. In addition, the founders of the MOVE Ecosystem Accelerator also received full support from the SpringX team, including 1v1 roadshow coaching, VC meetups, ecosystem project partnerships, official market exposure, and online closed-door sharing. During the acceleration process, we also received a lot of positive feedback from the official Aptos team, camp founders, and mentors. Jumping into a rabbit hole called Babylon, we mistakenly broke into a secure rental country

Jumping into a rabbit hole called Babylon, we mistakenly broke into a secure rental country

The idea of restaking is closely related to the sharing of distributed network security. DAO researchers Jane, Gimmy first started with curiosity about Babylon/BTC restaking, then inadvertently jumped into the rabbit hole of lengthy discussions on underlying consensus mechanisms such as PoW and PoS, then clutched the core idea of “secure leasing” and considered the significance of AVS from the first principle, and finally discussed some possible ways for Web3 projects to combine restaking. This Sunday evening (May 26), we will have a small closed-door discussion on restaking. The participants are mainly the founder of the SpringX Accelerator project and BuidlerDAO researchers, and some places will also be open for friends who have studied restaking. If interested, please contact TG: JaneZhang's article to know

SocialFi upstart xPet: One step away from greatness

SocialFi upstart xPet: One step away from greatness

Author: @BuidlerDAO Economic Model Team Arranged by: @createpjf注: This article only represents a personal opinion and does not constitute any investment opinion Written above @xpet_tech is a recent phenomenal SocialFi. One week after its launch, it attracted 2639+ ETH in capital and 7000+ on-chain users. The project is still very early, many rules are unclear, and the gameplay mechanics still have a lot of room for iteration. The project side has also been making frequent moves recently, and the most interesting and controversial one is that it directly liquidated the ETH that users deposited on the evening of December 4 and established a $XPET/WETH liquidity pool on Uniswap. On December 6, it went on sale again with $BPET. Frankly speaking, it is not very proper to do the direct liquidation. Since it itself is an illiquid coin, it is theoretically ineligible to participate in lending. Releasing the $XPET price without any prior explanation and proceeding directly with the settlement can be described as having caught everyone by surprise. Users' questions and concerns about it are not out of the blue; they still need to be cautious when investing until further information is clarified. Economic Model Team members @Fisher_manQ, @observerdq, @0xLukeCrypto, @Janezh1111 and others abstracted it and discussed it in depth as an interesting brain game and economic model case. Among them, we think the most interesting thing is how the system can be designed to move towards a relatively balanced and long-lasting state. Of course, we are also concerned about the external value injection of the economic model:) What is quite rare is that the design of the economic model and the product form based on the Twitter plug-in have achieved good collaboration. While users rapidly fission, the positive flywheel of the system's economic model also accelerates operation. If you are interested in economic model research, please scan the QR code to add BuidlerDAO Assistant to join the group. Please note the economic model. Project parties are also welcome to discuss economic models with us. The long-term path to the vitality of the system The quantity of XPET tokens available for conversion is equivalent to 50% of the XPET revenue earned the same day (the number of XPET tokens that can be exchanged for BPET is equivalent to 50% of the XPET revenue earned the previous day). —— Combining the XPET white paper with game mechanics, we can deduce the following formula: In summary, we continue to deduce simply: in the initial mining stage, the total computing power is low, the amount of $BPET produced is small (denominator), many new $XPET (numerator) are added, and the return per unit of computing power is very high. (Assuming that $BPET generated every day is exchanged, liquidity will be extremely scarce, and it is relatively easy for the project party to control) High returns drive more people to invite others to mine, buy mining machines, and fill the $XPET reward pool every day. The cycle of growth declines one day, and the yield drops to insufficient to attract new people and capital. The death of the system can be seen from the path above. If the system is to last longer, it is necessary to extend the high-yield period as reasonably as possible, corresponding to the formula, that is, try using various methods to increase molecules, reduce denominators, and see the opposite of the two Whether the growth rate can be maintained at a certain level. Increase the molecule: The protocol is designed as smoothly as possible to attract as many people as possible to join XPET. If the price can be at a reasonable level, it will help lower the user participation threshold. Some of the mechanism designs currently mentioned in the white paper to increase conversion and reduce the denominator will help achieve this goal. For example, $BPET's pledge generation (increasing in-game BPET consumption) and the queuing black box mechanism (min function sets a limit on exchangeable BPET) commercial traffic revenue generated by Quest will also bring positive externalities to the system, which can be used back when the yield falls Starting from the formula for buying and destroying $BPET, we also have some other thoughts: 1. A stable XPET price would be a better solution. We believe that the fluctuating $XPET price design may be a trick. Under the current unstable $XPET price setting: when it rises sharply, the entry threshold for users will increase significantly, which will undoubtedly prevent more players from entering if the $XPET price is too low, the yield is not attractive...

Exploring ideas for using basic economic theory in blockchain economic model design

Exploring ideas for using basic economic theory in blockchain economic model design

The author said that the economic model design of a blockchain system plays a critical role in the success of the project. Many project leaders want to figure out how to design an economic model? In these design works, what is the supporting theory and methodology of the economic model is the first question that many designers think about. Because I have been exploring the blockchain field for many years, read a large number of white papers on blockchain projects, and have thoroughly analyzed and compared the economic model design of some projects. In addition, our team is also developing a Web 3.0 project, which also involves the design of the economic model in the project, so I would like to summarize an article on the underlying theory of blockchain economic model design. The economic model design in the project is closely related to the project agreement design (or application design, hereinafter referred to as the agreement for short). The economic model serves the agreement, and the agreement is the main body carried by the economic model. This requires that the person designing the economic model has knowledge in these two related fields, or that the design team members have knowledge in these two fields. I myself have computer expertise and many years of work experience, and I also studied economics systematically at Renmin University. The author's “Blockchain Economic Model” published in 2022 was relatively basic and elementary, and did not involve specific analysis, so I wanted to write an article on blockchain economic model design supporting theory. In the process of writing, I had quite a few concerns. The theory of economics was vast and profound, and there were also quite a few controversial issues among economists. Blockchain projects also had their own characteristics. What would be the quality of writing such an article? Will there be any serious mistakes? or misleading? ... Whether right or wrong, I'll first sort out the outline and context of my thoughts and set a target for everyone to criticize. The article uses basic and universal economic theories and methodologies as much as possible, uses the easiest scenarios to understand, and expects more capable people to supplement and improve. Note: To make it easier to read, I've summarized the main contents of a few economics subjects. For the knowledge content related to macroeconomics, microeconomics, and monetary banking used in the article, I referred to previous study notes and textbooks, and made a simple summary and summary using ChatGPT3.5. The main content should not be too ambiguous. Game theory I personally only read a few pieces of content and a few non-textbook books, and summarized them using ChatGPT3.5. If you are interested in economic model research, please scan the QR code to add BuidlerDAO Assistant to join the group. Please note the economic model. Project parties are also welcome to discuss economic models with us. Please note: Economic Model Article Quick Reference: Economic Model Design and Agreement Design Considerations: 01/ Economic Model Design Considerations 1.1 Considerations in Agreement or Application Design 1.2 Economic Model Design Considerations 1.3 An Observational Perspective on the Relationship between Agreements and Economic Models 02/ Thinking Dimensions of Economic Model Design & nbsp; 2.1 Macroeconomics Tasks in Economic Model Design 2.2 Tasks of Microeconomics in Economic Model Design 2.3 Tasks of Money Banking in Economic Model Design 2.4 Game Theory Tasks in Economic Model Design 03/ Case Study --- A Web3 Email Airdrop Design & nbsp; 3.1 Macroeconomic Considerations 3.2 Microeconomic Considerations 3.3 Game Theory Considerations 04/ Summarize the full text in 8,600 words, estimated reading time 20 minutes 1. Economic model design and factors to consider in agreement design We have previously explained that the economic model design in the project is closely related to the project agreement design design. The economic model serves the agreement, and the agreement is the main body carried by the economic model. In a Web3 project, the two support each other, promote each other, and fundamentally, require an agreement or application design that is deeply humane. 1.1 Protocol or application design considerations Protocol or application design is more considered from a human perspective or lower level principles. SpringX: The Path to Entrepreneurship from Asia Pacific to North America, and from Startup to Mature ft. Conflux, Galxe, Aspecta, BuidlerDAO

Note: The article only represents personal opinions and does not constitute any investment opinion. In the preparation stage for the official launch of SpringX, several sponsors sat down and had a relaxed and paid conversation. They have different backgrounds, experiences, and ages, but they appreciate and pity each other, and even have a relationship between investing and being invested. The projects they have launched also have their own characteristics and are distributed on public chains, identity protocols, DID, and DAO tracks. Two of these projects are already in the middle to late stages, and two have just completed an angel round of financing, respectively, based in different parts of Asia and North America. What they all have in common is that they all gained valuable experience and firsthand experience in the process of continuing Buidl, and sincerely shared during this exchange about how to find market opportunities and stand out in the context of a bear market, experiences and challenges of globalization, and experiences in forming and developing teams. When asked why they are participating in the launch of the acceleration camp, they all mentioned that they hope to build deep connections between people, help more founders make meaningful products that can be implemented and have commercial value, and expand our industry as a whole. The differentiation of SpringX is also mentioned in detail. As an accelerator launched from the Founder's perspective, participants can establish deep connections with mentors and fellow alumni, exchange tokens, receive international support, and join a real network of mutual assistance. Starting a business is lonely, and there are many unknown challenges, but we can also choose to join groups to warm up and help each other, so that various forms of capital such as talent, knowledge, experience, friendship, and capital can gather here to create endless possibilities. Welcome to SpringX and join our Founder Network...

BuidlerDAO: Token2049 x Singapore Node Event Highlights

Buidler DAO: Web3 talent and project incubator https://nextme.one/BuidlerDAO商务合作WeChat:MiaoFrank1229内容:@Jasmine图片:@熊熊排版:@createpjf近日,新加坡 Token2049 became a narrative center and hosted an unprecedented Token2049 event. The event not only brought together industry leaders, but also ignited a spark of thought and discussed cutting-edge topics of the future. At the Token2049 venue, we saw Web3 projects and developers from around the world, and Singapore has become a link and bridge connecting the global crypto community. Singapore's inclusive culture has shown unique advantages in the Web3 industry, blending different ways of thinking between East and West, and gradually expanding its influence. This is difficult to replicate elsewhere. Singapore's regulators have also introduced a framework for future-oriented governance, and keywords such as regulation, halving, ETF, GameFi, and RWA were continuously discussed by everyone at the conference. However, the boom in the crypto industry and Web3 is inseparable from community support and ecosystem building. We are committed to amplifying the voices of builders. The first Singapore-based offline meetup event “BuidlerDAO Singapore Meet & Connect” hosted by BuidlerDAO was successfully held at Alibaba Cloud's Singapore headquarters on September 15. It was announced that Singapore has become an important node for BuidlerDAO to establish overseas DAO organizations, and launched offline meetup events to connect innovators, talents and high-quality projects, so that Blockchain practitioners and enthusiasts from all over the world gathered to discuss the potential and future of Web3, exchange and cooperate to explore more and more possibilities! We believe the power of community will drive the future development of Web3. The event was jointly organized by BuidlerDAO, Beosin, Alibaba Cloud, and MoleDAO. The event focused on BuidlerDAO's governance, global node development, and future planning. At the event, Niels, founder of BuidlerDAO, and Co-Founder Frank shared SpringX, the upcoming launch of the Web3 startup accelerator. MoleDAO, Alibaba Cloud, and Beosin, which are long-term partners of BuidlerDAO, also shared their experiences in the Singaporean Web3 industry and an introduction to the direction of the latest project development. Wonderful review In the topic of DAO construction and governance, BuidlerDAO shared how to build an influential and productive DAO organization from the four aspects of community, content, product practice, and ecological acceleration to achieve the vision of becoming a Web3 talent and project provider infrastructure. BuidlerDAO members can actively exchange projects in the community, connect with other builders, have the opportunity to launch and participate in high-quality projects, build their reputation through practice, and reap the benefits of future investments and incubation projects. On the day of the event, BuidlerDAO also partnered with D.ID to distribute customized.Buidl NFC cards to the guests attending the event. In the event's roadmap introduction, we learned that with regard to product practices and DAO Tools platform areas, the BuidlerDAO community has continuously improved the community's governance efficiency through self-governance practices, while also providing some solutions for the outside world. At the same time, in terms of product and project acceleration, they are also cooperating with more projects to provide them with incubation or acceleration support, and jointly build talent and project networks. Over the past period, BuilderDAO has built a good influence through continuous excellent content output and attracted many talents to join. Now we are looking forward to slowly expanding the influence of Chinese people to global Chinese, and further building the influence of the global community. We are simultaneously promoting the internationalization of the community. Currently recruiting node leaders around the world to expand BuidlerDAO's network of relationships in different cities around the world, link more Web3 talents and high-quality projects, and build a more open and inclusive autonomous community space for DAO organizations, not limited to Chinese...

All DAO organizations are either forking or on the way to forking

All DAO organizations are either forking or on the way to forking

There's no DAO that won't fork; it's just sooner or later. Writer: Jaleel Editor: Jack's establishment of a proper forking mechanism does not encourage forking, but forking is probably an inevitable part of DAOs moving towards decentralization. The NounsDAO fork has been discussed many times, but it was actually implemented last month, after the official approval of Proposal 356 for NounsDAO V3. After the Forkv3 proposal was approved, NounsDAO's official website launched a fork page where holders can join the fork and split the DAO treasury. The time window for supporting the fork is one week. According to the rules, after the end of the window period, if 20% of Nouns NFTs support this fork, supporters will be separated from the main body of NounsDAO and directly split the corresponding proportion of ETH from the treasury. On September 9, 214 Nouns NFTs chose to join the fork, more than 20%. At that time, the NounsDAO fork was bound to happen. Does the forking mechanism necessarily cause forking? How did the crisis of trust happen? In addition to needing decentralization, do DAOs need to be “humanized”? Should “humanization” reach such a reasonable level? As the Nouns fork progressed, the debate over the DAO fork was brought back to the stage, forcing the entire crypto community to re-examine DAO governance and re-understand the fork. These issues may be an ongoing challenge for all DAO organizations. DAO's exploration of governance mechanisms The DAO, which is recognized by many OGs as one of the most elegant in the crypto industry, has forked. Nouns was born on August 8, 2021, and today, as part of Nouns' main culture, the 24-hour auction is still ongoing. After each auction, 100% of the proceeds go to the treasury, which is managed by Nouns owners. On September 16, NounsDAO completed the fork on this day called “Fork Day” by the Nouns community. 472 of the 846 Nouns NFTs joined the fork, and more than half of the holders chose to leave Nouns, and they withdrew nearly $27.3 million of ETH from their treasury. Retreating doesn't just mean “quitting in anger” after the fork, NounsDAO fork0, and the biggest difference from the original NounsDAO is that it has a “raging mechanism” (ragequit). Like forks, the raging mechanism has been discussed many times on NounsDAO, but it hasn't really been implemented. “Unlike what many people understand, retreating isn't just used to describe DAO members' angry exit.” During an interview with BlockBeats, Wang Chao (@cwweb3), an OG participant in the DAO field, said this. “The foul back feature was first designed in the Moloch agreement, and members can vote against a project they decide to invest in if they are very unhappy with the project they decide to invest in. After voting against it, if the proposal still passes, members have seven days to choose to exit the DAO in anger, and the proposal will only be implemented after seven days. This waiting period leaves a window for dissatisfied members to execute an angry exit. However, the practice of rage functions in the DAO field is uncommon, and can even be said to be very limited.” The retreat function allows members to quit by burning their own tokens in exchange for a certain percentage of the treasury share. MolochDAO, derived from the Moloch agreement, can be said to be a pioneer in investing in DAOs. It is a DAO that promoted ETH2.0 through donations, and the first DAO launched based on the MolochV1 version of the agreement. After receiving support from Vitalik and ConsenSys founder JoesphLubin of 1000 ETH each, Moloch became famous. It can be said that most of the investment DAOs currently running around the world are built on Moloch. Since then, the “retreat mechanism” has been learned and adopted by some DAOs one after another. Under the consensus of the majority of people, it is also taken into account that a small group follows individual wishes. This is the value of the existence of a “retreat mechanism.” For example, a DAO member can exercise the ability to “retreat” if they disagree with the group consensus on the decision. Since NounsDAO is open,...

Interview with BuidlerDAO founder: Thousands of people are queuing up to enter, what's the difference between this DAO?

Interview with BuidlerDAO founder: Thousands of people are queuing up to enter, what's the difference between this DAO?

Compared to traditional corporate “management” concepts, Niels believes that what DAOs need is “governance” and “guidance.” Interview & Summary: Babywhale, Foresight NewsWeb3 talent and project network BuidlerDAO announced at the end of August that it had received $2 million in seed round financing from Sequoia China Seed Fund, SevenX and other institutions. Three weeks later, on Wednesday, BuidlerDAO founder Niels and the founders of important projects in the industry launched the Web3 startup accelerator Spring Xcelerator (springx.net) provides a $20 million funding pool and structured courses and founder network and resource support for Web3 entrepreneurs in seed or angel rounds. DAO has always been a controversial term, and people have never stopped exploring this new form of organization, yet the process has been extremely “twists and turns.” As a rising star, BuidlerDAO has received support from institutions including Sequoia China through the DAO concept at a time when the popularity of the financing market has almost reached its freezing point. What's special about BuidlerDAO? What kind of development potential do investors see in this field? With many questions, the author interviewed Niels, the founder of BuidlerDAO: Foresight News: What kind of background did the BuidlerDAO founding team have, and why did they choose the Web3 industry together? Niels: BuidlerDAO's founding team is mostly internet-based. I myself attended Shanghai Jiao Tong University as an undergraduate and graduated from Yale University with a master's degree. I like to toss things around. Plus, I've been to 14 companies for internships and startups, including VC (Zhenge Fund), Consulting (Bain), and Data Engineer (Didi). After graduating in 2020, I worked as a product manager for trading links at Ali, joined the startup Yahaha 1 year later to do economic system planning, and later joined the Web3 startup team to do DID products, because my project received financing, so I chose to start a full career. Other members of the founding team are from major Internet companies such as Tencent and JD, as well as from years of VC+ entrepreneurship, consulting+ entrepreneurship experience. Basically, they are all serial entrepreneurs with science and technology backgrounds. As for why I chose Web3, I learned about blockchain technology because of the opportunity to work as an economic system at a startup, to study the economic model of games, and then I was shocked by the innovative nature of the technology after knowing the logic that the underlying layer is a distributed ledger. I believe that the characteristics of decentralization, transparency, and traceability will lead to new solutions to some problems and the birth of many new things. And I myself love to research and design complex systems. Other people in the team also have their own ideas. Some people think that Web3 is more inclusive and not fully defined than Web2. Although it is more uncertain, it is also more challenging; others think that as an emerging industry, Web3 is very equal, has no qualifications, and may also be a post-90/95 structural opportunity worth risking; in addition, there are also people who think that Web3 has brought a revolutionary paradigm trend, giving ordinary people the opportunity to participate in the construction of a new ideal society, and that there are many explorations in fields such as underlying technology, social culture, and products opportunity. Foresight News: Why did you choose the DAO circuit? What does BuidlerDAO want to do? Niels: DAO was chosen by chance. The initial entry was an NFT tool, then the market went into a bear market. After the product was finished, it was not launched, but it was discovered that the community gathered many Buidlers who wanted to build the industry like us, and discovered that DAO was a way to make the community productive. After studying the operating model of DAO organizations at home and abroad, we approved the DAO model. As the name BuidlerDAO suggests, we want to build a community that Buidler co-owns and participates in, from the Chinese language and beyond. “Co-ownership” requires decentralization, and “participation” is accurately “autonomous participation.” As for what BuidlerDAO wants to do, in summary, it includes: a talent community. Researchers, developers, and market operators are the core forces of every project, and are responsible for judging the direction and implementation...
