According to CNBC, Anthropic is expected to list the public's negative sentiment about artificial intelligence and data centers as a risk factor in the IPO prospectus to be released in the next few weeks. According to people familiar with the matter, Anthropic recently held a pre-listing “market trial” meeting with bankers and investors. Investors focused on competitive pressure, the impact of open source models on profit margins, and the risks that may be brought about by a slowdown in data center construction. Anthropic is currently valued at close to $1 trillion in the private equity market and is preparing to hit a major IPO. However, as Americans' concerns about AI replacing employment and data center expansion heat up, the related backlash sentiment is becoming a new challenge facing the company's listing. Strategy shares break through $120 and hit a two-month high, STRC returns above $96

Comparative news, according to MSX.COM data, Bitcoin treasury company Strategy (MSTR) stock rose to a two-month high today as the Bitcoin price briefly surpassed $79,400. It once broke through $120 intraday, then partially regained its gains. Meanwhile, the price of STRC, Strategy's preferred stock product, also surpassed $96 for the first time since June. Previously, STRC's price once fell below $70 due to concerns about its ability to pay dividends and the ability of the stock price to maintain the $100 target for a long time. Recently, Strategy has continued to manage balance sheets through capital operations, including using MSTR stock issuance funds to support repurchases of preferred shares, dividend payments, and US dollar reserve construction. The company previously disclosed that as of mid-August, its Bitcoin holdings were about 840,447, while the US dollar reserves reached about $4.8 billion. Market participants believe that as the price of Bitcoin rebounds and investors' risk appetite improves, Strategy related securities have recently received repricing opportunities. BounceBit Chain updates vulnerability attack progress: will permanently shut down the chain and migrate to BNB Chain

Comparatively, cross-chain revenue protocol BanceBit issued a security incident announcement stating that its blockchain network was attacked by a protocol-level vulnerability attack between 8:02 UTC on August 19 and 01:54 UTC on August 20. The attackers used authorization flaws in the Evmos underlying architecture to transfer BB tokens from 9 main network accounts without the authorization of the account owners. According to the announcement, the attackers transferred a total of approximately 286.5 million BBs through 14 transactions. The impact of the incident was limited to BanceBit Chain itself, and did not involve private key leaks, signature forgery, wallet, hardware devices, or exchange account security issues. BanceBit CeDeFi Strategy, Promo Vaults, Prime, and RWA products were not affected. BounceBit stated that the vulnerability stemmed from a protocol native module authorization verification flaw in the Evmos architecture. When calling the relevant module through a smart contract, the attackers bypass security checks that should verify the authorization relationship of the fund source account, making it possible to specify any account as the source of funds. After the incident, BounceBit Chain stopped generating blocks at block height 20,702,857, then the team decided not to upgrade the chain, but to permanently shut down Bouncbit Chain and re-issue BB as an BEP-20 token based on BNB Chain. BounceBit stated that the new BB token supply will be based on an on-chain snapshot before the first abnormal transfer (block height 20,697,260), and the 286,543,148 BBs transferred by the attackers will not be included in the new token balance. Users do not need to submit an application or migrate their wallets, and the official plan is to automatically distribute the new BB to the corresponding BNB Chain addresses. Regarding the BB in the pledge, BounceBit said it will be restored as soon as the snapshot is in time, and there is no need for coin holders to perform unbundling or redemption operations. Currently, BounceBit has submitted requests for suspension and assistance to relevant exchanges, and reminds users to be wary of scams and not to click on any BB migration or receipt links that have not been officially confirmed. The team said that the new BEP-20 BB contract address and reissue progress will be announced later. This article is sponsored by GENG, Build Your Fortune on GENG (https://geng.one)

Bernstein: Bitcoin's shock to $80,000 was driven by liquidity, ETF funding flows have picked up

Comparative news, according to The Block, analysts at Bernstein believe that Bitcoin's rebound over the past two days may mark a shift in market momentum, behind which is an improvement in the liquidity environment, a recovery in ETF demand, and friendly regulation. Bitcoin hit $79,500 on Friday and then fell back to about $78,000. Analysts linked this round of rebound to the US Treasury's announcement to increase repurchases of long-term treasury bonds, believing that liquidity expansion has always been beneficial to Bitcoin. Furthermore, Ethereum outperformed Bitcoin in this round of rebound, which analysts attributed to ETH's higher exposure to stablecoins, tokenization, and real assets. Spot Bitcoin ETF capital flows have changed from net outflows in May and June to net inflows of $1.6 billion this week, and the management scale has risen to over $85 billion; Strategy holdings have changed to surplus of over $2 billion, and cash reserves can cover 2.8-year dividend expenses. Bernstein also mentioned that regardless of whether the much-publicized “CLARITY Act” (which will be subject to a procedural vote on September 15) is passed, the SEC and CFTC are expected to speed up the legislative process in areas such as native token issuance, equity tokenization, perpetual contracts, computing power derivatives, and predictive markets. FT: Bitcoin is expected to have the best weekly performance in more than three years, and Bezent expands US bond repurchases to weaken the dollar

Comparative news, according to the Financial Times, after US Treasury Secretary Bezent announced the expansion of long-term US bond repurchases, market hedging and currency depreciation transactions heated up, and assets such as Bitcoin and gold rose sharply. Bitcoin rose nearly 8% on Friday, with a cumulative increase of 24% this week. The price surpassed 78,000 US dollars, a new high since May this year, and is expected to record its best weekly performance in more than three years. Gold also performed strongly during the same period. It rose 1.5% to about 4,585 US dollars/ounce on Friday, with a cumulative increase of more than 13% in August, which is expected to be the biggest monthly increase since 1999. Market participants believe that the core factor driving the current market is the expansion of the US Treasury's long-term treasury bond purchase plan. US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said earlier that he would at least double the scale of long-term US debt repurchases. The measure reduced the yield on 30-year US Treasury bonds in the short term, but it also raised concerns about the decline in the purchasing power of the US dollar, and the dollar index continued to weaken thereafter. Jefferies chief European economist Mohit Kumar said that gold and crypto assets rose sharply after Bezent announced related measures, further supporting expectations of a weaker dollar. This rise has reignited currency depreciation transactions (Debasement Trade), where investors hedge against the risk of declining fiat currency purchasing power by allocating assets such as gold and bitcoin. Previously, the conflict between the US and Iran led to a rise in inflationary pressure, which once interrupted the logic of this transaction, but now the market has returned to expectations of liquidity easing. In addition to Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and XRP have risen 29%, 17%, and 40%, respectively, over the past week. Previously, the crypto market continued to be sluggish since the fall of last year, and Bitcoin's biggest decline in the past year once reached 31%. Meanwhile, crypto-related stocks rose at the same time: Coinbase is up 16% this week, stablecoin issuer Circle is up 17%, and Bitcoin holding company Strategy is up 21%. Analysts pointed out that Bitcoin's rapid rise triggered a squeeze on bears, and large numbers of short positions were forced to close, further driving up the price. Furthermore, US President Trump's meeting with regulators and heads of crypto companies this week and the introduction of new crypto regulation proposals by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) were also viewed by the market as good for the industry.
