Road printing agreement

We spent a lot of time preparing the Multiparty Computation Ceremony (Multiparty Computation Ceremony) required for the Road Printing Protocol 3.0 Trusted Setup (Trusted Setup). Last week, Road Print participatedPersistent Tau (tau) calculation(Perpetual Powers of Tau) to ensure that the results of this multi-party calculation can be used more reliably in Luprint's own multi-party calculation ceremony. We have completed and are testing the second stage code required for the Luyin multi-party calculation ceremony — the first stage refers to the perpetual Tau () calculation itself, and the second stage refers to the multi-party calculation associated with the LOUPRINT protocol circuit. We have also developed a corresponding web page to show the progress of the multi-party calculation ceremony. The website will be launched before the ceremony begins. A number of prominent figures in the blockchain ecosystem have now confirmed their participation in Luyin's multi-party computing ceremony; we will continue to invite more people to participate.

On the other hand, protocol R&D engineers are making a special optimization to the circuit code base to increase the degree of parallelization of relay matching. This part of the code is almost complete, and it should be possible to finish all testing and merge into the main branch within a week. At the same time, the team has also completed the optimization and adjustment of all parameters of Protocol 3.0, which has ensured more stable interaction between the relay and the protocol in the early stages of launch.

The audit of protocol 3.0 was further delayed. Since the agreement audit was not a bottleneck for us to go online, the delay of one to two weeks did not have much impact on the launch. We are also grateful to AmbiLabs for being willing to spend more time perfecting the audit at the same cost.

Light cone relay

After two weeks of hard work, the relay has completed all the docking work with the beta3 version of the protocol, including subsequent integration testing and deployment. Based on this, we have carried out extensive performance tests and optimizations. The current throughput of the system should be able to crush the level of some small centralized exchanges and disrupt the user experience of previous decentralized exchanges. At the same time, we continue to fix the problems we have encountered and further improved the stability of the system. Based on this system, we tested the relay system based on the Rinkeby test chain and the Georli test chain separately — the latter was specifically used to test the impact of the Istanbul upgrade on the Road Printing protocol.

The relay has also added a quick account opening function, which allows new users to complete account opening in seconds (it took a few minutes before) and can recharge immediately, greatly optimizing the account opening experience. Furthermore, we have further completed the division and merger of each module, adjusted the tight coupling, removed the single-point bottleneck of the previous system, and fundamentally solved the performance bottleneck of the optical cone relay. We are in the process of further refactoring and development of the new version, which is progressing very well

Front-end products

The front-end has completed the docking process with the back-office beta3 version, and the new authentication mechanism will guarantee the privacy of user data and system security. At the same time, we have also applied for a server in China and completed the deployment of the new version, which should solve the problem of domestic users' access speed. The UI is also continuously being optimized.

Beta launch plan

  • Luyin agreement: We expect the multi-party calculation ceremony of the agreement to take about 40 days to complete — each participant will take 2-4 days, and the first stage involves about 8 to 10 people. Therefore, protocol beta4 is expected to be released and deployed to the Ethereum mainnet in mid-December.

Agreement beta4 2 tasks to be completed

  • Light Cone Relay: We expect the Light Cone to complete the full restructuring and more stress tests by the end of December, especially tests related to parallel task processing.

  • Front-end: The front-end code is mainly developed by WeDex. It is expected that all coding and testing of the improved version should be completed by the end of December.

This year's Spring Festival holiday is in late January 2020. If the product is launched in December, it may not be possible to complete timely processing of some issues during the Spring Festival, which will cause some inconvenience to early users. Plus, the community may not be active during the Spring Festival, soWe and WeDex have yet to finalize whether to launch DEX products in December of this year, but the entire core architecture should be ready.

Operations and Markets

  • On October 20, Guo Xionghui, CTO of the Luyin Protocol, was invited to attend the Shanghai Blockchain offline gathering hosted by the Magic Piper Developer Community to share Luprint Protocol 3.0's high-performance DEX solution based on zero-knowledge proof.

  • On October 21, we participated twicePersistent Tau (tau) calculation. Luyin's own multi-party calculation ceremony is also about to begin, so stay tuned.

  • On October 21, Matthew Finestone, commercial director of Luyin Protocol, conducted a discussion on the Cryptoverse Telegram groupAMA Q&A

  • On October 22, Dolomite published the article “”Best decentralized exchange for Luyin Protocol LRC trading”. By adopting Luprint protocol technology, a new generation of decentralized exchanges will provide traders with better security, speed, and trading experience.

  • On October 27, Road Print issued an announcement, using10 million LRC ecosystem supports WeDEX. WeDex will also be the first high-performance decentralized exchange based on the Luprint Protocol 3.0.

  • On October 30, Luprint open-sourced the circuit code library for the Luprint Protocol 3.0:PROTOCOL3-CIRCUITS, the code base includes six types of circuits. We've also set up one500,000 LRC bounty programIt is used to motivate the community to conduct further independent audits of circuit codes.

  • On November 1, the Luyin Agreement published the article “”Important update on the LRC Long Term Incentive Program”. To encourage everyone to stay in the contract and compete for the maximum amount of LRC rewards, we transferred ownership of the contract to a self-destructing contract.
