[Press Release] Road Printing Agreement Project Progress Report (Issue 55)

• We have received Protocol 3.0 from Ambi LabsSafety Audit ReportThe protocol was also improved.

• Enough people have participated in the multi-party calculation of Road Printing's security settings, and engineers have begun generating certification keys and verification keys.

• The light cone is basically ready, is undergoing the final round of stress testing and minor bug fixes, and will soon begin servicing WeDex.

The Luyin core team will be closed for a few days in early December to discuss the overall plan and specific division of labor for 2020. As a result, the publication date of the next biweekly report was postponed by one week until December 22.

R & D

Road printing agreement

Good progress has been made in the multi-party calculation of road printing's security settings. Currently, a total of 15 people have completed the calculation, 12 of whom are from other blockchain teams (such as Gnosis and Aztec). We've also set it up on GitcoinbountyThe winner of the reward will also become a participant in the multi-party calculation. We are generating the first version of the certification key and verification key based on the results of the 14th round of multi-party computation. We expect the deployment and configuration of 3.0beta4 on the Ethereum mainnet to be completed next week.

Some of the Road Printing Protocol 3.0 modules are configurable. To increase security, we have addedDelay configurationfunctionality. As an authorized administrator, you must disclose the new configuration to the community, and then wait a while before the new configuration takes effect.

smart wallet

We have decided to develop a smart wallet app for small and white users in mainland China in 2020. We will explain the positioning and functionality of this wallet app in the 2020 R&D roadmap. Let's take a moment to sell.The R&D roadmap for 2020 will be released at the end of the month.

We've already started thesmart walletThe design of the Solidity contract has implemented many basic modules, including limit transfers, approved transfers, key recovery, wallet locking, guardian management, meta transactions, etc. We expect to complete an internal evaluation of the overall design of the wallet contract by the end of December, implement all core functions, and begin app product development.

Front-end products

DEX's web-based products have been developed by WeDex. According to our understanding, WeDex has now basically completed front-end development and is refining the details, and plans to launch the first version for testing in December. Light cone relay

The reconstruction of the optical cone relay has been completed, and the test coverage rate is now over 90%. The system performs normally when the multi-pod concurrent throughput is not less than 50 transactions per second. Previously, some logic and performance issues were encountered during the concurrent stress testing process, including inconsistent state after the matching engine failed to recover; concurrency issues caused by parallel consumption of Kafka messages; mismatched JVM parameter configurations and Docker resource parameter configurations. Most of the issues have been fixed, and others are still being investigated and are expected to stabilize next week. In addition, major data storage services, including MySQL and Redis, have switched to using AWS native services to ensure higher stability.

The marketing module data synchronization mechanism is basically established, with a delay of less than 0.5 seconds, which can basically meet the requirements of marketing in real time.
