Coinbase Wallet Adds Notifi Crypto Transaction Reminder

Compared to Twitter News, users of the Coinbase mobile crypto wallet can now automatically get on-chain dynamic alerts through the messaging service Notifi.

According to a press release, Perpetuals exchange GMX is the service's first customer. Customers of platforms based on Arbitrum and Avalanche will receive notifications about pending liquidation and governance updates, and can also design their own automated message notifications.

The service marks the expansion of Coinbase's XMTP-based messaging channel. Since July of last year, the XMTP protocol has allowed Coinbase wallet users to send messages to each other. Notifi is also using the XMTP protocol, according to the press release.
