Tether signs a memorandum of cooperation with the Dubai Multi-Commodity Exchange Center to promote blockchain education and asset tokenization

Comparing news, stablecoin issuer Tether published an article announcing that it has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoU) with the Dubai Multiple Commodities Exchange (DMCC), and the two sides will jointly explore cooperation opportunities in the fields of tokenization, digital asset education, and blockchain applications.

DMCC is one of the world's major business hubs, and currently has more than 26,000 resident companies, accounting for 15% of Dubai's total foreign direct investment. According to the memorandum, Tether will provide special workshops, blockchain consulting services and digital asset pilot projects for enterprises within the DMCC network, explore improving the DMCC community member experience through peer-to-peer digital payment systems, and support the DMCC Crypto Center's knowledge sharing and innovation activities, including joint events and hackathons.

Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino said that the UAE is actively promoting the integration of digital asset infrastructure into the global market and real economy. The cooperation aims to accelerate the practical application of blockchain technology in the fields of tokenization and education.

Ahmed Bin Sulayem, executive chairman of DMCC, pointed out that stablecoins have processed trillions of dollars in transaction scale, tokenization is reshaping cross-border asset financing and transfer methods, and Dubai is working to strengthen its central position in the global digital economy by laying out regulatory frameworks and infrastructure in advance.
