Bitget adds 14 stock rTokens such as Sony and Pinduoduo to support weekend trading
According to the official announcement, Bitget added 14 new stock spot rTokens, including rPDD (Pinduoduo), RabnB (Airbnb), and RSony (Sony), to support weekend trading. Following this update, the number of stock tokens that the platform supports weekend trading has increased to 93. During the US stock market closure period, the platform will generate a weekend continuous trading price based on Friday's closing price, market makers' quotes, and market expectations. This function supports limit orders and take-profit and stop-loss settings. To prevent abnormal fluctuations, the system has a protection limit of about ± 20% for weekend price limit orders.
According to reports, rTokens marked with the letter r+ stock code (for example, Nvidia is RNVDA) are issued by Reality, a licensed RWA agreement under Bitget, and are directly connected to global liquidity pools such as NASDAQ and NYSE through cooperation with compliant brokerage firm Alpaca. Its features include: the underlying assets are 1:1 reserves and managed by a licensed custodian, 1:1 distribution of stock dividends in the form of tokens, simultaneous mapping of corporate actions such as stock splits, etc., and positions can be used as joint security deposits for unified accounts and U-standard contracts, so that users can flexibly manage funds while holding global stock assets.
