Meanwhile, semiconductor ETFs (SMH) have a net outflow of US$2.8 billion so far in August, which is expected to be the largest monthly net outflow in history; software ETFs (IGV) had a net outflow of about US$610 million during the same period, or recorded a net outflow for the third consecutive month. Funding is rotating from the semiconductor and software sectors to broader technology stocks.
