Source: Three Arrows Capital holds Deribit shares worth only $25 million, not $500 million

Comparing news, according to a source, court documents relating to the bankruptcy of Three Arrows Capital (3AC) may have overestimated the value of the company's remaining assets, particularly its exposure to crypto options exchange Deribit. In a 1,100-page affidavit written by liquidator Russell Crumpler and submitted to the British Virgin Islands court, 3AC was described as “insolvent” and required complete “liquidation.” The documents also detailed 3AC's remaining assets, which include GBTC, BTC, AVAX, and NEAR holdings, as well as Deribit's shares. Liquidators want to obtain these assets to facilitate creditors' claims, which are worth at least $28 billion. According to the affidavit, 3AC holds Deribit shares worth $500 million, equivalent to half of 3AC's remaining assets. However, a person familiar with the matter said that Deribit shares held by 3AC are worth close to $25 million rather than $500 million. According to sources, 3AC does not directly own Deribit's shares, but rather owns shares in a Singaporean special purpose company called 3AC QCP Deribit SPV. According to reports, SPV's largest shareholders are 3AC and QCP Soteria Node, which is a holding company with an investment portfolio including Algorand and Pundix. SPV's directors include Sherwin Lee, founder of QCP Soteria Node, Darius Sit, co-founder of QCP Capital, and Su Zhu, co-founder of Three Arrows Capital. The source further explained that SPV owns over 23% of Deribit's shares, making it the largest external shareholder. Among them, 3AC holds 16% of the shares, making it SPV's largest shareholder. Over the past few years, 3AC has sold a portion of its 16% shares by “issuing binding letters to numerous parties claiming ownership of 3AC's SPV shares.” At least four known parties hold these letters and claim 3AC shares in SPV, some of whom are on the liquidator's official creditor list. The source said that due to these potential property burdens, the value of their shares required a “significant discount”: “The value of 3AC SPV shares is required because any buyer of these shares will be bound by these equity burdens, and it will be difficult to monetize these shares in the future.” Author: Amy Liu For more information, welcome to join: Compare Discord Community: https://discord.com/invite/QSvv7MZ2tz比推 TG Community: TG Community: https://t.me/BitPushCommunity比推 TG Subscriptions: https://t.me/bitpushTwitter:https://twitter.com/BitpushNewsCN This article is from Twitter, article link: https://www.bitpush.news/articles/2909300转载需注明出处...

Cashio releases post-hacker attack analysis report and is willing to provide a $10 million USDC bounty

Comparing news, the Solana ecosystem stablecoin project Cashio released a post-mortem analysis report on the previous hacking incident, saying that any existing open source agreements existing on Sabre will be carefully reviewed in the future to ensure the relative safety of users' funds. There are now new additional requirements for open source agreements that list assets on Sabre: Soteria tools must be run, the code must be Clippy Lints and CI enabled, and at least three highly competent individuals or audit firms review smart contracts. Cashio apologizes to all users who lost money in this hacking attack. Cashio is willing to offer $1 million in USDC as a bounty if the hacker returns the funds. Comparing with previous news, on March 23, Cashio experienced an infinite minting bug, and the stablecoin price almost returned to zero.

GameFi has entered a cooling-off period, what is the next main theme?

GameFi has entered a cooling-off period, what is the next main theme?

We think the next phase of the layout should focus on the following four directions: GameFi with better gameplay; “Steam Chain Games”; Gold Clubs; and game aids. Abstract: After almost half a year of intense development, the GameFi circuit began to cool down after December of last year. The market was adjusted to eliminate some speculative games with random charges and lower quality. Leading projects such as Axie are also facing a situation where user growth is slowing down and player revenue is declining. The entire track is also looking for new narratives and growth points. First of all, we have always believed that the GameFi circuit is an important way to attract players from outside the circle into the crypto field. Furthermore, even though there are still players who want to have fun and make money in a bear market, we are optimistic about the GameFi circuit for a long time. We believe that the next stage of the layout should focus on the following four directions: 1. GameFi with stronger gameplay; 2. “Steam Chain Games”; 3. Goldsmithing Guild 4. A game aid. 1. Market Overview 1.1 Trading volume declined sharply, active user fluctuations increased. Looking back at 2021, GameFi's trading volume peaked at the beginning of August and November. The trading volume reached around 220 million US dollars in the first week of August and the first week of November. More than 90% of this was from Axie Infinity. Other games with the highest trading volume include Alien Worlds, Sorare, Aurory, Gods Unchained, and Crypto Kitties. The trading volume of these games continued to decline after November. By the first week of 2022, GameFi's trading volume was around 44 million US dollars, which is already down more than 80% from the highest point. Axie Infinity's trading volume was only about 35 million US dollars, or about 16% of the highest point. However, despite a sharp drop in transaction volume, active users of chain games have been fluctuating and rising, from 470,000 at the end of July last year to 1.53 million at the beginning of January this year. The number of active users has more than tripled in half a year. As can be seen from this, although trading volume declined sharply after the market calmed down, new users continued to participate in GameFi. GameFi NFT Asset Trading Volume Source: The BlockGameFi Number of Active Users Source: Dapp Radar1.2 Multiple ecosystems are fully blossoming. Due to GameFi's high requirements for network performance, lower fees and faster transaction speed, Ethereum sidechains, Layer 2, and other Layer 1 public chains can all be used as infrastructure for chain games. According to the top 100 GameFi Dapps in the past 30 days according to Dapp Radar statistics, 57 have been deployed on BSC, 11 for Polygon, 10 for Wax, 7 for Ethereum, 4 for Immutable X, and 3 for Harmony. In terms of quantity, BSC's GameFi ecosystem is quite large. BSC is very passionate about games in the second half of this year, from Crypto Blades in the middle of last year to a series of P2E games characterized by gaming, represented by Crypto Mines in November. Although people have mixed reviews of the BSC ecosystem's game quality due to the currency price and economic model design of some games, GameFi has clearly become one of the main directions of BSC now. Low transaction fees and support from the Binance ecosystem all make BSC the best choice for development One of GameFi's public chains. In addition, there will also be a phenomenon where a single GameFi project drives the development of the entire public chain ecosystem. Taking Hive and WAX as an example, the card game Sppnterlands has promoted the development of the entire Hive. The number of active users of Sppnterlands has always been in the top five in the Dapp list, accounting for more than 90% of the total usage of the Hive network. WAX also relies on Alien Worlds to drive the entire game ecosystem, and Alien Worlds accounts for half of the WAX network's activity. The biggest contributor to Harmony's GameFi transaction volume came from DeFi Kingdoms, which reached 1.76 billion US dollars in 30 days, making Harmony a GameFi Dapp transaction...

Avocado Guild, a chain game association, raised $18 million, led by Animoca Brands and QSN

Up to now, the P2E Association has recorded the highest amount of private equity financing in Series A, and its valuation has also jumped to 200 million US dollars. Recently, the P2E (play-to-earn) chain game association Avocado Guild announced that it has completed its Series A financing, raising a total of 18 million US dollars, which is the highest record for the P2E Association's Series A private equity financing amount so far, and its valuation has also jumped to 200 million US dollars. According to reports, the financing was co-led by the well-known chain game development and investment team Animoca Brands and QCP Soteria Node (QSN). The participants include: Three Arrows Capital (Three Arrows Capital), Hashed, Solana, Polygon, Binance Smart Chain $1 billion growth fund, Algorand, PNYX Ventures, MEXC Global, LD Capital, Kenetic, and GoldenTree Asset Management management, etc. As a P2E gaming association, Avocado Guild invests in NFT assets to provide community players to participate in various chain games. The P2E Revolution (Play-to-Earn Revolution), which it advocates, involves three different dimensions, from individuals to communities to the entire field of cryptography: #Play2Empower Scholars (empowering new players while playing), #Play2Enrich Community (enriching the community while playing), and #Play2Educate Cryptoliteracy (learning cryptocurrencies while playing). According to reports, the Avocado Guild plans to provide scholarships (scholarship programmes) for over 12,000 community members at the end of 2021, and is committed to covering players from all over Southeast Asia. Currently, the scholarship program has over 7,000 members, mostly from Indonesia and the Philippines. Project participants can choose to share the proceeds with the Guild to learn how to participate in games such as Axie Infinity and receive NFTs provided by the Guild to launch the game. With this, the Avocado Guild hopes to open a window for disadvantaged community members to have new revenue streams. It is worth mentioning that in addition to enabling more players to support themselves and improve their lives through the P2E mechanism, Avocado Guild regards popularizing cryptocurrency knowledge and having correct and good crypto community values as an important goal for the growth of its community. As a digital native community, Avocado Guild encourages community members to have sufficient confidence in discussing and using digital assets step by step by step by learning and earning money, while improving their quality of life. In the future, Avocado Guild will focus on improving community education, involving DeFi education, mentoring programs, and a series of off-chain activities. Brendan Wong, co-founder and CEO of Avocado Guild, said, “Our vision is to be a leader in P2E and blockchain empowering every opportunity in the current metaverse revolution. We're proud of our ability to borrow through P2E mechanisms and NFTs to help our community members improve their lives. At a time of economic decline due to the COVID-19 pandemic, liquidity mining and metaverse content creation have provided new revenue streams for many people. Our guild will continue to grow and participate in future cornerstone games, and our scholarship program will expand from P2e to DeFi projects, further enriching the lives of community members.” Yat Siu, co-founder and executive chairman of Animoca Brands, said, “The Avocado Guild team was one of the earliest supporters of P2E games and has been involved in projects such as Axie Infinity and REVV Racing for a long time. We're excited to support the Avocado Guild project's vision to help it grow and attract more players, especially those who don't know anything about cryptocurrencies, to participate in the future of games driven by Web3 and the metaverse.” According to reports, the Avocado Guild raised funds in this round will be used for project technology solution expansion, AvocadaDAO migration, and plans to build a global team and channel to further expand its scholarship program for new players, while improving the utility of the token and promoting it globally...

IOSG Weekly Brief | Why cross-chain bridges have become a must-fight place for soldiers #99

Part.1 Insight Why cross-chain bridges are a must-fight place for military families Author: Chloe @IOSG Ventures The summer of Layer 2 has arrived. Currently, major Rollup scaling solutions, including Zk Rollup and Optimistic Rollup, are being intensively deployed and expanded. Many leading DeFi projects have also chosen to deploy on Layer 2. One of the leaders in the Layer 2 circuit, such as Arbitrum, has reached an astonishing TVL of nearly $3 billion in a short period of time, and has maintained a strong growth momentum. We can see from the TVL of the major cross-chain bridges that assets on Ethereum have been transferred to sidechains and Rollups on a large scale. In addition to this, sidechain and Rollup are also isolated, making it even more difficult for users to transfer assets across “Rollup - Sidechains”. This situation has fueled and accelerated the rise of third-party cross-chain bridges. This article will focus on exploring the three leading Ethereum-based cross-chain solutions: Hop, Celer, and Connext, and compare the differences in their underlying architecture with their respective strengths and weaknesses. (For different cross-chain solutions, please read our previous post: Cross-chain bridge solutions at a glance, who can gather multi-chain liquidity?) cBridge-Celercer is a multi-chain, cross-layer 2 layer 2 platform with a broader view. Cbridge is a cross-chain bridge launched by Celer to support different Layer 1 blockchains, such as Ethereum and Boca, different rollup schemes such as Optimistic Rollup and Zk Rollup, and sidechains such as Polygon. Unlike Hop's architecture, Celer enables the transfer of assets by constructing a state channel and performing atomic exchanges on this channel. The safety of the entire process is guaranteed by SGN. SGN is a specialized PoS chain that monitors Layer1 transactions related to Layer2 status and passes information from Layer2 back to Layer1. The user interface of cBridge is similar to Hop Bridge. An interesting finding is that when operating at different times (as shown above, the time difference between drawing and the screenshot on the right is 1 day), the fees charged by cBridge are very different, and choosing the right time to transfer money will save you a lot of processing fees. :) Although the user interface is similar, the underlying operation of Celer is very different; there is no burning or minting of synthetic tokens. 1. 100 USDT is locked in Arbitrum's secure contract (locked for 12 hours by default) 2. A state channel is created, and Cbridges generates a key to access the contract and shares a cryptographic hash of this key with the relay node3. Relay Node creates a secure contract address on Optimism and deposits the same amount of USDT4 into it. The user uses the key to redeem USDT on Optimism and shares the key to relay node5 through a hash lock. The relay node uses this key to unlock USDT on Arbitrum. When the transaction is completed, the user's counterparty is a “relay node”, and the relay node has abundant liquidity on multiple chains. When users transfer USDT from Arbitrum to Optimism, their assets will first be sent to the relay node on Arbitrum. Since the relay node also has liquidity on Optimism, it will further send the same USDT value to the user's destination on Optimism and collect part of the processing fee from it. In addition to the common characteristics of atomic exchange, Cbridge's other advantages and disadvantages include: Advantages:...
