Thailand wants a Chinese businessman involved in crypto mining and money laundering

Comparatively, according to the “New Straits Times” report, Thailand issued an arrest warrant against Chinese businessman Wang Yicheng, alleging that he is involved in a multinational network that uses illegal cryptocurrency mining to launder the proceeds of fraud and online gambling. According to the Thai Special Investigation Bureau, Wang Yicheng was charged with stealing and violating the “Computer Crimes Law” in November 2025. Currently, it is suspected that he has absconded, and Thailand is cooperating with international law enforcement agencies to track down his whereabouts.
