Black eats black? Fake DeFi actually snatched out North Korea's Lazarus real hacker

Source: Security Company ANY.RUN Compiled by: Daily Planet Daily Original title: Fishing Show of the Year, Fake DeFi Picks Out North Korea's Lazarus, Real Madrid Fans, Real Madrid Fans. With a mathematical background, they only use AI to write code. Core point of view: By setting up a fake DeFi company, the security agency successfully infiltrated the “Famous Chollima” hacker group under North Korea's Lazarus Group, revealed its complete process of using false identities, AI tools, and remote collaboration to infiltrate Western companies, and revealed its evolving toolset and infrastructure. Key element: The researchers disguised themselves as recruiters and recruited three North Korean agents within a few months to record their operation behavior, tool usage, and collaboration patterns in real time through the ANY.RUN sandbox environment. Agents used forged driver's licenses, stolen social security numbers, and mule accounts to complete the onboarding process. Some of these documents were processed by Google Gemini and had SynthID watermarks, revealing signs of forgery. Attackers rely on AI tools such as ChatGPT and Google Gemini to encode, translate, and modify files, and use AstrillVPN, remote desktop software, and dedicated servers to covertly access corporate environments. The three agents showed insufficient skills during development, frequently searched for basic issues, and exposed more proxy server and infrastructure information induced by selective network outages and captcha. The investigation found that Famous Chollima aims to lurk within the enterprise for a long time and legally obtain access to code, systems, and intellectual property rights, and is not limited to short-term attacks, and the threat persists significantly. Crypto friends who are often phished have probably heard of the North Korean hacker group Lazarus Group. Its well-known “campaigns” include, but are not limited to: Bybit ($1.5 billion) theft, Ronin Network/Axie Infinity Bridge attack ($6.2 billion), DMM Bitcoin/Ginco related attack ($308 million), Harmony Horizon Bridge attack ($100 million), and Atomic Wallet attacks ($100 million), etc. And the key to the success of these attacks is social engineering — hackers usually disguise themselves as normal job applicants, lurk at crypto companies for years, and wait for the right time. Recently, security agency ANY.RUN joined forces with BCA LTD (a company dedicated to threat intelligence and hunting) and NorthScan (a threat intelligence program to uncover the infiltration of North Korean IT workers) to effectively crack down on North Korean hacker agents. The researchers created a fake DeFi startup and successfully recruited “Famous Chollima” agents under North Korea's Lazarus Group who specialize in human infiltration, to gain an inside perspective on the actions of North Korea's IT workers. The ANY.RUN sandbox environment shows the agent's behavior patterns in real time, revealing their evolving toolsets, remote access workflows, AI tool usage, and supporting infrastructure. This survey went beyond the simple recruitment process and showed in depth how these agents collaborated, obtained, and used company resources after joining the company. The findings suggest that the North Korean IT worker program not only poses a recruitment risk; once agents sneak inside the organization, they can legally obtain access to code, systems, intellectual property, and critical business processes. The following is a report co-authored by the three parties, compiled by Daily Planet Daily. ——————Introduction In December of last year, we fully recorded the infiltration cycle of “Famous Chollima” for the first time. From recruiting collaborators to help them join Western companies, to falsifying documents, shipping laptops to intermediaries, and even using AI tools to assist and translate in real time during interviews, everything is under control. In that survey, we pretended to be a middleman willing to interview them and lend them a laptop in exchange for a percentage of their salary. The point is that those laptops are actually ANY.RUN sandbox environments that record every click and every step they take. This provided us with massive metrics, hours of computer operation videos, and face-to-face contact images, making an unprecedented survey and making headlines in many media. (“Famous Chollima...

Don't bet 100 times more, just look for “cash bulls”: What other projects are worth investing in in a bear market?

Source: Odailey Planet Daily Author: Asher Original title: Don't guess 100 times the coin, only bet on “cash cow”: What other projects in the bear market are worth investing in? The bear market only buys the most profitable items on each track, and the bull market then goes after short-term hot spots. Core point of view: In the context of the downturn in the crypto market, this article has selected four issued projects, Pump.fun, Hyperliquid, Uniswap, and Chainlink. They have shown profitability through a bear market with stable agreement revenue, providing a more realistic reference target for long-term investment. Key elements: 1.pump.fun's revenue in the past 30 days was 41.53 million US dollars, with a cumulative total of about 256 million US dollars in the first 7 months. The revenue depends on the popularity of Meme transactions on the Solana chain, but the average monthly cash flow capacity of tens of millions of dollars is outstanding. 2. Hyperliquid's cumulative revenue for the first 7 months was about US$352 million, surpassing Pump.fun. In June, it reached a new high of 60 million US dollars during the year. The revenue mainly comes from perpetual contracts and spot transaction fees. 3. Hyperliquid uses approximately 99% of the agreement fee to repurchase and destroy HYPE tokens, forming a simple investment logic of “profitable and continuous repurchase”. 4. Uniswap has earned 5.6 million US dollars in the past 30 days. It is the most profitable DEX. It accumulated about US$28.4 million in the first 7 months, benefiting from the official opening of the agreement fee after the implementation of the Unification proposal and its use for UNi's destruction. 5. Chainlink's revenue in the past 30 days was 4.57 million US dollars. The monthly revenue was stable in the range of 4.4 million to 5.8 million US dollars. The revenue came from service fees such as oracles and cross-chain services, and the cumulative transaction value facilitated reached 32.18 trillion US dollars. Since this year, the crypto market has continued to be sluggish. There aren't no hot spots on the chain; every once in a while, there are a few burgeoning memes, but these quotes often focus on new coins that have just been issued and hardly give the market time to fully study. Once the story ebbed down, prices quickly dropped back down. Most players who got on the bus halfway ended up losing money and making little money. Since blindly guessing the next 100 times the coin makes little sense. A more realistic investment logic is: if you are preparing to invest slowly in a bear market and wait for the next round of the bull market to return, what other projects are worth buying now? Compared to simply reading the story, a more direct screening criterion is whether the project itself still makes money or not. If a platform can still earn millions or even tens of millions of dollars in revenue every month in the crypto bear market, it at least indicates that users and demand are still there, and the project also has a stronger ability to cross the cycle. This type of platform token won't necessarily be the altcoin with the most exaggerated rise in the next round of the bull market. So, since this year, what other coin issuing projects have continued to make money? (The revenue data for the project in this article comes from Tokenomist and DeFilLama. The revenue caliber is uniformly adopted, that is, the actual revenue of the agreement after deducting distribution to supply-side participants such as LPs.) Pump.fun: The “shovel seller” on the meme circuit earns money from round after round of coin issuance boom. Apart from the two major stablecoin issuers Tether and Circle, Pump.fun is one of the most profitable crypto native projects in the past 30 days, with a revenue of 41.53 million US dollars. Looking at monthly data, Pump.fun's revenue from January to July was 51 million US dollars, 40 million US dollars, 38.1 million US dollars, 32.4 million US dollars, 32.4 million US dollars, 34.4 million US dollars, 26.6 million US dollars, and 33.7 million US dollars, respectively, with cumulative revenue of about 256 million US dollars for the first 7 months. Pump.fun's revenue peak was high at the beginning of the year, then the overall decline was evident in April and June, and there was some recovery in May and July. The core of Pump.fun's revenue comes from continuous trading of SGD on the platform. Currently, users are free to create tokens themselves, but trading during the Bonding Curve phase requires transaction fees. According to Pump.fun's latest rate, Bonding Curve's total fee rate is 1.25% per transaction, of which 0.95% goes to the agreement and 0.30% is distributed to token creators. Additionally, when tokens graduate from Pump.fun and enter PumpSwap, a graduation fee of 0.015 SOL will be charged. Pump.fun's revenue still depends on Solana's on-chain meme activity. When the on-chain market is lukewarm, revenue drops significantly, and recovers quickly when popularity picks up. But from the perspective of a bear market, it can be at 7...

“Cow Lai” went from being a “bad movie” to a top meme, and the token of the same name soared 3,000 times in 3 days

Source: OdailyPlanet Daily Author: Wenser Original title: The decoration team's hand-rubbed abstract masterpiece “Cow Lai” went viral. The meme coin of the same name rose 3,000 times in three days. The animated film “Cow Lai” became popular due to its rough painting style and abstract plot. The box office was poor at the beginning of its release. Later, due to the popularity of the Internet, the box office hit back to over 2 million yuan. The film was produced by a team from a former decoration company over 5 years. The official response was that Dragon Biao only reviewed the content for compliance, not quality. The film sparked a lot of innovation, became a cultural meme, and caused the meme coin of the same name to skyrocket. At one point, the market capitalization was close to 30 million US dollars, and a “3,000x miracle” was staged. Behind the phenomenon is an expression of the attention economy and the power of memes, and it also carries the public's good expectations for a bull market. Overnight, “Cow Lai” became a hot topic of discussion within and outside the community. At one point, the market value of the meme coin of the same name was close to 30 million US dollars. The animated film, which went live on August 5, attracted widespread attention and discussion due to its rough graphics, abstract plot, bizarre Dragon Ball review, and “impressive results” that only grossed more than 7,000 yuan in 9 days. The crypto community is concerned about its abstract style, meme attributes, and meme coins, which have skyrocketed in market value; outside the industry, there has been a “boom in watching movies and checking in”. Netizens at home and abroad have said they want to see how abstract this animated film, created by a team of only two people from a former decoration company, is. Today, when beautiful AI videos are popular, “Cow Lai” not only shows us the roughness of “ancient hand rubbing,” but also expresses to some extent the public's earnest expectations for “Cow Lai.” I can only say that today, when the attention economy is king, the power of memes far exceeds the imagination of ordinary people. The movie “Cow Lai” tells some bitter past stories: when the decoration company was evicted by ducks to make an animated film, we need to discuss the “Cow Lai” meme. Let's start with the movie “Cow Lai”. The “work of sincerity” of the decoration company: the producer of the film “The Cow Lai”, which was distributed online or the curve of saving the country in order to seek repayment for the project, called Dalian Jingyuan Culture, Film and Television Media Co., Ltd., was founded in March 2016. The legal representative is Xin Yu Meng, one of the film producers. The company changed its name in July 2021 to “Dalian Jingyuan Decoration Engineering Co., Ltd.” As a result, netizens joked that this was a decoration company turning it into an animated film, and accidentally created a new god in the abstract world. According to online news, the picture source shows that the box office reversal for the watermark “Cow Lai” movie: from more than 7,000 yuan in 10 days to breaking 2 million dollars a day, “Cow Lai” officially went live on August 5. Although it was considered a concurrent student with popular summer programs such as “Odyssey” and “Welcome to Dragon Restaurant,” it had no resources, and the number of movies released on the first day was only a poor 342 yuan. On August 14, 9 days after its release, “Cow Lai” still grossed at over 7,000 yuan. Many people haven't even heard of this movie. But who came up with it, the rough modeling, the stiff animation, the film's thunder dubbing the cow shouting “Mom,” and the ink wash-style poster produced by the movie's official production, all kinds of abstract power were spread wildly online, and the film sparked a lot of curiosity and sparked a stir. According to information, the film is based on a vast prairie, and tells the healing story of the young calf “Cow Lai” getting to know a lark and bringing it into a dream. In my dream, Skylark saw that under the nourishment of love, persistence, bravery, and dedication, the cow grew all the way to become a little warrior who dared to take responsibility and face life and death. The movie is officially defined as “parent-child animation,” but the style of painting is really unbearably charming. The origin of “Niu Lai” According to Maogan Pro Edition data, as of 10:00 on August 16, 2026, the cumulative box office for “Niu Lai” had reached 25.31 million yuan, and the total box office was estimated to be about 18.376 million yuan. Behind the scenes of “Niu Lai”: Dragon Biao's review is not that strict. Just look at the hard restrictions on how to complete the “Dragon Biao (Film Release License) review”, which is hotly discussed on the internet. The film official also publicly responded: “(Dragon Biao Review) only reviews content compliance; it doesn't review whether the film is good or not, the graphics are not exquisite, and the quality of the story is high or low. Al Animation is of mediocre quality and low cost. As long as the content is compliant, it can successfully obtain a screening license.” The official statement says, “This is also the key for all of us ordinary people to make our anime dreams come true!” Not to mention, it sounds really inspiring that “little people can make big dreams come true.” Cultural communication, memes are king: the 3 behind “Cows Come”...
