Monad Foundation: Seeks to buy back to early investors at a discount to lock in MON, almost no one participated
Comparatively, according to official sources, the Monad Foundation announced that it has recently completed a liquidity plan. Under this plan, the foundation proposed to some early Monad investors to reflect the discounted price applied during the four-year lockdown period to purchase MON tokens during the lockdown period. Any MON tokens purchased by the Foundation through this liquidity program will remain subject to the same lockdown period. The total purchase amount for this plan is capped at $60 million. The plan aims to provide an orderly liquidity exit channel for early investors whose partial liquidity needs or investment goals have changed, while supporting long-term unity of interest among remaining coin holders. Almost all of the coin holders contacted chose not to participate in the program, which has now ended. The Monad Foundation has never sold, proposed for sale, or sought to sell any MON tokens through OTC transactions or other means, and there are currently no processes related to such sales. Any statement to the contrary is untrue.
